Paper Arrows

Privacy

Effective September 27, 2026

We do not track you. Never have, never will. Paper Arrows collects no data. It has no analytics, no advertising, no accounts and no networking code of its own. It never connects to a server, so nothing about you or how you play leaves your device.

What the app keeps

Your place on the level track, the board you were in the middle of, how long your first clear of each level took, whether you have played today's puzzle, your world code (a number drawn on your device that decides how your boards are arranged), and your settings (sound, haptics, music, theme, app icon, assists) are stored on your device in the app's own storage. Deleting the app deletes them. They are not synced, backed up by the app, or sent anywhere. If you use iCloud device backups, your device may include them the way it includes any app's data; the app has no part in that.

The tip jar

The only purchase in Paper Arrows is an optional tip, handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and holds your payment details; the app never sees them. The app checks with the App Store whether a tip was made so it can show a small thank-you badge, and that is all it learns.

Today's puzzle

The daily board is computed on your device from the date. No server is involved and no one is told whether you played it.

Children

Paper Arrows is rated for everyone and collects nothing from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this ever changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it, and the app's About page will say so.

The support form

If you send a report from the support page, what you type is sent to us through Cloudflare, which hosts this site, and is stored as an issue in our private code repository on GitHub so we can track it, and as an email to us. The email address you give is kept with the report so we can reply, and for nothing else. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out spam; Turnstile does not build a profile of you. Nothing about this reaches the app.
